Who We Are?

A recognized expert in wireless technology, Mr. Nelson is the founder and principal of Nelson Technology Partners, Inc. providing strategic and operational advice to communications companies.  Having been involved in many technology innovations in wireless communications, in 2017, he co-founded Geoverse, LLC, a company which developed an innovative solution for private cellular LTE and 5G systems. Mr. Nelson served as the Chief Technology Officer for Globetouch, Inc., a privately held global provider of pioneering eSIM services for connected devices and IoT applications, from January 2015 to August 2017. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of AT&T Wireless Services, where over a twenty-year career he led technology innovation including the deployment of the first roaming networks and the first nationwide data and 3G networks in the United States. During his career, Mr. Nelson has worked closely with both national and international regulators and standards bodies on the creation of wireless specifications and standards. Mr. Nelson holds numerous patents covering broad and fundamental aspects of wireless communications.
